- Rita Agosta, a former longtime staff member at Skidmore's Scribner Library, died on December 26, 2008, at Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs. She was 96.
- Claire King Amyot, Skidmore's first director of health services, died November 17, 1983, at Saratoga Hospital. She was 75 years old.
- Johanna “Joosje” Wethly Anderson '58, a beloved alumna and talented artist who designed the Skidmore College wordmark, died on Dec. 25, 2022.
- Helen (“Foo”) Donohoe Armstrong, a longtime switchboard operator at Skidmore, died January 3, 2013, in Glens Falls, N.Y. She was 87.
- Betty Vasiliki Svolos Balevic, associate professor of management and business emerita, who mentored Skidmore students with great dedication and care for more than four decades, died Jan. 31, 2021, of Alzheimer’s Disease. She was 90.
- Betty Ballou, a dedicated member of Skidmore's housekeeping team for more a quarter century, died at home on March 22, 2023. She was 74.
- Daniel Balmuth, a scholar of the Soviet Union and Russia and a member of the history faculty for 40 years, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at Saratoga Hospital.
- Alwin "Al" Barney, former chief of security, died November 18, 2003, in Saratoga Springs. He was 88.
- Hazel Marie Barton, who served Skidmore as a kitchen/dining room assistant for 25 years, died on July 7, 2023. She was 94.
- Peter B. Baruzzi, professor emeritus of art at Skidmore, died July 25, 2014, in Saratoga Springs. He was 89.
- Parker Baum, who retired as a professor of chemistry in 1987 after 22 years of service, died August 13, 2014, at the Schuyler Ridge Nursing Home in Clifton Park. He was 90.
- Ruth Beach, a member of the Scribner Library staff died May 21, 2014, at home, surrounded by her family.
- Beverly Becker, professor emerita of physical education and dance, died on April 20, 2020, in Wyckoff, New Jersey. She was 89.
- Alma Becker, nationally recognized theater director and longtime member of Skidmore's Theater Department, died June 2, 2013, following a long illness. She was 67.
- Miriam J. Benkovitz, professor emerita of English for 30 years, died June 12, 1986, following a long illness. She was 74.
- Mabel "Peggy" Biggie, a longtime housekeeping and Dining Services employee, died peacefully on September 14, 2018. She was 92.
- Charlie Blodgett, who retired from Skidmore’s post office in 1992, died on Thursday, April 16, 2020. He was 88.
- Frederick Bolster, who served for 40 years in Skidmore’s maintenance operations, died December 4, 2017, at Saratoga Hospital following a short illness. He was 72.
